`install_app` and `uninstall_app` mutations removed from the public API

The install_app and uninstall_app mutations are no longer part of the public API. Both were introduced in version 2026-07, and they have now been removed from every public API version that contained them, including versions that were already released.

Any request that selects install_app or uninstall_app through the public API will now fail GraphQL validation, because the fields no longer exist on the Mutation type. This is a breaking change for any integration, app or script that calls either mutation.

The types that only these mutations used, InstallAppInput, InstallAppResponse and AppDeletionResponse, are no longer referenced by any public operation.

Migration notes

This change does not add a replacement mutation to the public API. To migrate, remove every call to install_app and uninstall_app from your integrations, and stop relying on the InstallAppInput, InstallAppResponse and AppDeletionResponse types. If you depend on installing or uninstalling apps programmatically and need an alternative, contact monday.com developer support.
