Richer items_page column values: subitems, linked boards and creators

Breaking change. In API version 2027-01, the subitems field on the subitems column value of the items_page query (ItemsPageSubtasksValue) returns a new ItemsPageSubitem type. It previously returned ItemsPageLinkedItem. ItemsPageSubitem exposes the subitem id and name.

The same release enriches several items_page column values, so you can read common related data in the same request instead of making follow-up calls:

• Linked boards. ItemsPageLinkedItem has a new board field of the new ItemsPageLinkedBoard type, which returns the id and name of the board that the linked item belongs to.
• Creators and updaters. creator (a User) is added to the file column values for assets, docs and links, to the creation log column value, and to ItemResult. ItemsPageLastUpdatedValue gets updater, the user who last updated the item.
• File targets. ItemsPageFileAssetValue gets asset (the asset associated with the file) and ItemsPageFileDocValue gets doc (the doc associated with the file).
• Voters. ItemsPageVoteValue gets voters, the users who voted.

Migration notes

Requests that select only id and name on subitems keep working without changes. You need to act if you reference the old type for subitems:

1. Replace any inline fragment or type reference to ItemsPageLinkedItem that you use for subitems with ItemsPageSubitem.
2. If you generate types from the schema, regenerate them, so the subitems list is typed as ItemsPageSubitem.
3. ItemsPageSubitem has only id and name. If you rely on other fields from the old type for subitems, such as the new board field on ItemsPageLinkedItem, they are not available on subitems.
