Subscription discount value is now a decimal number in API version 2027-01

🏷️ API version: 2027-01

The value field on the SubscriptionDiscount object now returns Float! instead of Int!. SubscriptionDiscount is returned in the discounts field of an app subscription's details, for example when you query app_subscriptions. For percent discounts the field holds the percentage (a value of 80 means 80%), and it can now carry a fractional part such as 95.281753.

This is a breaking change for clients that treat value as an integer. API version 2026-10 still returns Int!, so the change only affects requests that use version 2027-01.

Migration notes

Before you move requests that read SubscriptionDiscount.value to 2027-01, update your code to accept a floating-point number. Typed clients and generated SDK types that declare the field as an integer (for example Int, int or number with an integer check) need to change to a float or double type, and any logic that assumes a whole number, such as integer parsing, integer-only database columns or strict equality checks, needs to handle decimals. If you stay on 2026-10, nothing changes.
